PDF in. Peppol out.

No more retyping: upload the PDF, check the result, release it. Reading the invoice, filling in your master data and delivering over Peppol is on Bizzlink.

Reading the document is the easy part

Plenty of tools turn a PDF into an XML file. But a Peppol invoice needs details that appear on no PDF — above all the recipient’s Peppol address. A converter hands you a file and you never learn whether it can be delivered. Bizzlink delivers, and therefore checks beforehand that everything holds.

And against the manual route: anyone submitting invoices through a web form such as MyGuichet.lu retypes the recipient, every line, every tax rate and every total by hand — from scratch for each invoice. That typing becomes one upload and one look at the result.

Four steps onto the network

1

Upload

Pick a PDF, scanned or born digital. Up to 20 MB per document.

2

Extract

Mistral AI reads the document as a whole: header data, line items, totals, tax rates. Set to deterministic, so the same invoice yields the same result.

3

Review

Every extraction gets a score from 0 to 10. You see field by field what was recognised and correct whatever is off.

4

Release

Sending is your call — with a record of who released it, and when.

What is verified before anything leaves

Six checks lock sending outright. None of them relies on the model being right.

B1

Recipient reachable

The Peppol address is looked up live in the network directory. If the recipient cannot receive this document there, nothing goes out.

B2

Mandatory fields

Invoice number, issue date, recipient name and country, currency. If one is missing it is named, not guessed.

B3

Totals add up

The printed footer totals are set against the recalculated ones. A mismatch is a blocker, not a hint.

B4

Invoice or credit note

Where the document type is not unambiguous, you decide — not the model.

B5

Schematron validation

The generated UBL runs through the same Schematron validation as every other invoice we handle.

B6

No double send

If this invoice number already went out through Bizzlink, it stops. You can still repeat it deliberately.

Ten further checks deduct points instead of locking: line arithmetic, VAT logic, tax rate per line, buyer reference, due date and more.

Your side of the invoice does not come from the PDF

What you have already recorded about yourself needs no guessing. Bizzlink fills it in automatically:

Company identity

Name, VAT number and trade register number from your legal entity.

Address

The full postal address, exactly as the invoice requires it.

Your Peppol ID

The default identifier of the environment, kept apart for sandbox and production.

Bank accounts

All active accounts, the primary one first — deselect any of them during review.

Contact person

Name, email and phone of the uploading user, falling back to the legal entity.

What the import cannot do

  • PDF only. The import currently accepts no other file formats.
  • No pass without your eyes on it. Every invoice goes through review before it leaves the house.
  • You select or enter the recipient’s Peppol address once. After that it lives in your master data.
  • Delivery over the Peppol network. Bizzlink does not serve national systems outside Peppol.

Tuned to your documents

Invoices look different in every company. So we set up a recognition profile of your own, matched to your templates and those of your suppliers — instead of an off-the-shelf model that guesses the same way at every layout. That is why PDF invoice import does not start self-service but with a conversation: send us a few typical documents and we set the profile up.

From the Business plan

PDF invoice import is unlocked from Business and billed at €0.30 per extracted invoice. No base fee for the feature itself.
